Dan Garcia's visit, University of Berkeley professor

Dan Garcia, professor at the University of Berkeley and Creator of the "Beauty and Joy of Computing" (BJC) course, visited our schools to give a talk about the course to our educational community.

Dan, he mentioned the importance of having notions about Computer Science today, so that little by little a computational thought is created in people. On the other hand, diplomas were awarded for the participation of the BJC course of some teachers.

This talk was very important for all attendees, as they were able to understand that there are closer and simpler ways to enter the world of technology, and through these can break the established ideas of its complexity.
