National Champion in Karting

We congratulate our student Ethan Thorne (4th C) who is Rotax Max Challenge Peru 2017-2018 National Champion in Karting.

Throughout the year, Ethan has been participating in various national and international competitions, such as the Rotax Max Challenge Colombia Championship, in which he achieved third place in his two participations, the Panamericano ROK CUP that was held in Colombia, where he won the first Heat, at the World Kartism held in Lonato – Italy from 10 to 14 October in the mini category, finishing 69th out of 150 drivers, and at the Supernational XXII – SKUSA in Las Vegas (one of the most important races in the United States) United States of America), in all competitions representing Peru and as part of the Vemme Kart team.

Next year he will participate in the Challenge of the Americas in the United States of America in February, March and April, where he hopes to qualify for the World Cup again in October 2019.

Karting is a discipline of motorsport that is practiced with go-karts on circuits that are between 600 and 1700 meters in length, and a width of between 8 and 15 meters. This sport is usually practiced by children from the age of 8 and adults, who are trained to be great pilots.
